Welcome to The Rachel Kurzyp Show.
Today I want to talk about the power of a high-converting sales page.
I’m often asked if there’s value in having one when many businesses are having successful sales conversations and conversions on social media platforms like Instagram.
And the short answer is hell yes.
While it’s true that you don’t need a sales page to sell your offers – many of my clients have joined my 1:1 coaching program without seeing a sales page – I always recommend my clients have them because they are a key part of a sustainable and profitable sales strategy.
Many of my clients and community start off with a services page on their website that gives a high-level overview of each of their offers.
But after seeing success in their business, they realise they don’t have the capacity to have long discovery calls with their clients and that they’re spending hours creating proposals with basic sales information.
So if this is you, know you’re not alone.
I like to think of your sales page as stepping in to have a conversation with your dream client when you’re not able to.
So it’s job is to provide everything your dream client needs so they can make an informed decision about whether your service, program or product is right for them and then take the next step in their journey with you.
People often talk about sales pages in relation to dollar dollar bills. However the exchange of money is the very last stage of the sales conversation with your client.
It also supports your client to self-select in or out of your offer based on fit and readiness so you can serve people who are the right fit and provide additional support for those that aren’t.
It allows you to answer individual questions and hold space for your dream clients when they are in the decision-making stage of the sales process because all the information is readily available to people at earlier stages.
You’re able to be upfront about your prices, inclusions, bonuses and options so that your dream clients can make comparisons to similar programs or products based on what they need.
And you’re able to build the know, like and trust factor quickly by providing details on your framework, expertise, and personal story and demonstrate the results you’re able to get for your clients through testimonials.
This is why having a high-converting sales page is crucial if you want to show up, serve and sell in your business.
So if you’re wanting to create your first sales page this year or are planning to update your current sales pages, here are 10 things you can do to ensure your sales page sells and supports your wider strategy.
#1 – Get into the head of your dream client so you know what they need. Go and listen to episode 10 which will help you to do this.
#2 – Provide social proof and ensure you’re demonstrating the tangible and intangible results you get for your clients.
#3 – Craft a call-to-action that supports and encourages your clients to take the next step in the customer journey. Listen to episode 1 for what to include in your CTA.
#4 – Use specific examples and words that resonate with your dream clients so they feel seen and heard.
#5 – Make your offer clear and concise by showing how your framework is going to get them from where they are to where they want to be.
#6 – Share the price and payment options so your dream client can make an informed financial decision.
#7 – Share features and benefits of your services so they can see the value in what you offer.
#8 – Give your offer a name that demonstrates the result or feeling your client wants from working with you.
#9 – Add photos, graphics and illustrations that help you convey information faster and build a connection with your dream clients.
#10 – Make your sales page scannable so that it is easy to read and doesn’t distract your dream client.
There you have it, my 10 things your high-converting sales page needs.
